Project Location: Lomas del Valle

"In 2020, the months of February and March, I entered the Lomas del Valle FAV, one of the Fundación Esperanza community fund groups. Upon entering, we began to work making blocks for a house, which really caught my attention– learning to work in a group and that we would build a house with our own hands. This way of building adds much more value to our homes.

During the construction of our house I received a lot of support from my FAV colleagues, technicians and volunteers, who came to do a great job on my house. All the volunteers have impacted my life and that of my family by seeing that they came willing to do hard, heavy work and with heat or rain, they kept working. I believe that everything is because it comes from a willing heart and full of hope, each one of them left a lesson in my life. They left part of their time and their life in my home, that is why they have a place in my heart and in my family, I am eternally grateful and happy to receive their help.

Thanks to your great volunteer work, the FAV, and Fundación Esperanza (technicians, social worker, and managers), I can now enjoy my own safe, warm, and comfortable home. Everyone working together brought stability to my family. Today I can say:  'Welcome to my home'. Thank you so much!!"

Sincerely,

Adilene
