My name is Florita, I am 63 years old. I found out about Esperanza through a Facebook post. My family and I were instantly interested, so we contacted them to get more information.

At the community center they gave us all the necessary information as well as clarified all our doubts. We could not pass up this great opportunity since they make it easy for you to have a dignified home. For 30 years I lived in a wooden house, hoping one day to build the home of my dreams.

The best experience I’ve had with Esperanza is being able to participate in the construction of other homes and working as a team with all the volunteers who help make it possible to make the dreams of each person who is in this beautiful project come true.

The great challenge for me personally is communication with people, since I am very nervous, but as the days went by I lost this fear, since the volunteers, technicians and all the people who support the project are very friendly and they make you feel like family.
