Ivan & Josefina

It is a great joy to be part of Fundación Esperanza de México’s support program. Our family includes: my husband Ivan, our daughter Diana, and me, Josefina. We were able to join this fund in March 2020, thanks to the invitation of our neighbor and fund partner Elia who considered us for this amazing project

Thanks to the generosity and good heart of someone who damaged their property, today we have our home, a home that we have always longed for and which was certainly not seen as a short-term project before becoming part of FEM; We are also very grateful to the foundation for such a great project for the benefit of many families who are helped to build a habitable house for themselves and also with the ease of manual payments that do not 'affect' our economy.

In the self-construction process of our home, we realized that part of the process and the project is trust: trusting the foundation and its work, and trusting the hands that help lift it from the foundation to the roof.

It is a great pride to say that the house in which we live was made with love for our neighbor, hope in the world, will, disinterest in receiving something in return, effort and time. Well, all this was demonstrated by all the volunteers who came to help. Thanks to all of them and to the construction technicians for such noble work, because from the first day we inhabited the house we felt a great tranquility and warmth of home.

Thanks to the entire FEM team and its founders, our dream of having a nice home became possible. There is no more worrying about leaving the place where we live or paying rent.

We hope with all our hearts that life returns double for the help that you have provided to so many families. Infinite thanks for everything.
